Original "Delivery lesson" that is the activity of the IT liaison center has been developed for three years in this school as part of a losing interest in science measures and a regional contribution. It lectures on the single theme executes in the delivery lesson for the elementary school and the junior high school in the vicinity. Additionally, the support of science partnership project (SPP) of JST is received in 2006 fiscal year, and "Delivery lesson" of the course type study activity done. Moreover, there is "Delivery lesson" etc. of the experience type rotation method of the electronically controlled engineering department that delivers the subject booth of open campus. In this thesis, it introduces the content and the feature of the approach of these "Delivery lesson", and the effectiveness of the losing interest in science measures is evaluated from the analysis of the questionnaire of comparison analysis with the open lecture and "Delivery lesson" etc.

To deepen our knowledge of recent freshmen's diversified motivation to enter Colleges of Technology, a tentative scale examining those motivations was constructed and practiced in three colleges. Through factor analysis, a scale with 20 items for motivation to enter Colleges of Technology was constructed and its reliability and validity was checked. Entrance motivation tendencies between male students and female students, between day students and dormitory students, among colleges, and among specialties were also checked through some statistical analysis. The results suggest that female students and students who major in chemistry tend to want to change their way of life into the new circumstances, and decide to enter Colleges of Technology.

Using the transmission-line theory, we will investigate properties of wave propagation and resonance in fractal pre-Cantor multilayers called pre Cantor Bars as shown in Fig.1. When the stage number n increases, the pre-Cantor bar will not transmit almost anywhere for εr2 > 1 where εr2 is the ratio of dielectric constants of two kinds of layers. For resonance frequencies of the n-th pre-Cantor bar, the largest amplitude of voltages at the midpoint of the bar, V(L⁄2), increases double-exponentially because of the inequality |V(L⁄2)| ≤ εr22n−2. For such a resonance frequency, an amplitude of the voltage at the midpoint of a white region in Fig.1 is given by |V(L⁄2⋅3k)| ≤ εr22n−k−2 . Because the voltage |V(χ)| is localized around χ = L⁄2, the EM localization occurs for the resonance frequency of the pre-Cantor bar of the higher stages.

This system is in use to measuring motivation for the third-year students of Sendai National College of Technology. In case of the traditional questionnaire survey, the scale which printed on paper was used. After the analyst collected it and converted it into electronic file, analysis was carried out using applications software. However, the system introduced here does not use any paper in all process of the investigation. Furthermore, the applications software to analyze data is easily started with the launcher which was developed for this system. The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol and the Hash function were installed into the system to protect online personal information. This system brings high data handling efficiency and the utility of data at measurement of classroom motivation.

We had an open lecture of Tag rugby to introduce for primary school children, their parents and school teachers. Before this open lecture, we visited primary schools, and advertised this lecture. And, 15 primary school children, 8 parents and 3 primary school teachers participated. We lectured to them about basic Tag rugby rules and game method with Sendai National College of Technology Rugby Football Club member's support. According to results of the participants' questionnaire, it was a popular lecture. We thought this open lecture was effective to continue and was suitable for regional contribution of college's club activities.

In recent years, quantum many body theories have been developed quite rapidly, based on quantum information perspective. In particular, it becomes clear that quantum entanglement end its entropy are key concepts to combine different research area with each other. Efficient numerical techniques for time evolution and two-dimensional quantum systems are proposed. They will lead to a major breakthrough in current condensed matter physics. This paper reports fresh ideas behind these techniques.
